Books and Newspapers NOT Taxable under GST

Printed books, including braille books and newspaper, periodicals & journals, maps, atlas, chart and globe are not taxable under GST.

  • Unused stamp price, revenue or similar stamps of current or new issue in the country in which they will have known face value where you will find stamp impressed paper, bank notes, cheque forms, stock, share or bond certificates and similar documents of title.
  • Printed or shown postcards. Therefore, printed cards, bearing personal greetings, messages or announce, if not it illustrate, with or without envelopes or fixings.
  • Calendars of any kind, printed, including calendar blocks.
  • Other printed matter including printed pictures and photograph. Such as Trade material, Commercial catalogues, printed Posters, printed inlay cards, pictures, designs and photographs, Plan and drawings for architect engineer, industrial, commercial or similar purposes reproduce with aid of computer or any other devices.
